This is a photographic portrait of Liam O'Maonlai, the lead singer of Irish folk country-rock band Hothouse Flowers. This was taken during a free concert they played on Pitt Street in Sydney during 1991. Please excuse my photographic incompetence ... I have decided to submit this photo because it is the original photograph that I used as a reference for the creation of a watercolour painting, which you can view here. A autographed photograph from the same concert can be viewed here
Apologies for the delay in my reply to your comment ...
I'm quite surprised anybody still remembers them lol. The "People" album is rather good actually ... My fav would probably be "I'm Sorry".
I know a huge amount of people who not only remember them, but also continue to see them when they tour. Liam is doing a solo thing on the side as well, just saw them two years ago. Tihs is a brilliant shot of him back in the day... Well done, you!

Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it.
Each day we will feature 10 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
